A look back at our March Floortalks
Here at Landscape Services, our Floortalk events have become an invaluable triannual event for senior management and support services to spend time with the wider operational team, and update them on the latest company changes, investments and information that impact their day-to-day.
March marked the first round of Floortalks for 2025, and despite having only been four months since the last there were plenty of developments to share, both internally and from the wider Commercial Services Group. Some of the key messages being;
- Commercial Services’ Group’s new company structure and explaining our latest ‘Energy & Environment’ division, where both Landscape Services and our partner business, CSG Managing Waste will fit into. As part of a group of 33 businesses, this is an important update for both customers and staff.
- CSG continues to grow, with the introduction of five fantastic businesses including; Maudesport, Timstar, TSL, Gresswell and Connect2Hackney.
- We welcomed three new team members, including Regional Operations Manager, Martin, as well as the celebration of an internal promotion!
- Sharing an update on our recruitment of two apprentice operatives.
- Discussing the acquisition and investments made into our depots across the county, including our brand-new depot located in Dartford.
- We were pleased to share our most recent investments in machinery and equipment for all ops teams and key depots, including ride-on mowers, robotic linemarkers and trailed rotary mowers. Just in time for a busy summer!
- The latest conversations around our businesses’ sustainability journey via investment in more technology - including talk of electric vans.
It was fantastic to have a catch up with our Operational teams, and feedback has been invaluable. We look forward to doing it all again in July!
