Celebrating our community heroes with TMBC

Last month we teamed up with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council to celebrate 30 local volunteers at a special awards ceremony, recognising exceptional dedication, hard work and long-standing contribution to one of Tonbridge and Malling’s most cherished green spaces, Haysden Country Park.

The group have supported a range of work from essential maintenance to habitat protection, often working alongside our own teams across the borough to provide wonderful and accessible open spaces for the residents and visitors to the Borough.

It was for this reason that we partnered with TMBC to develop the Haysden Heroes Awards. And after months of collaboration and preparation we were pleased to welcome volunteers to the TMBC Council Chambers for a ceremony presented by the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Cllr Chris Brown.
