Our recap of the November floortalks!

As these four floortalk events were the last of 2025, we had plenty of internal business updates from the last quarter to share with the various teams from the Maidstone, Tonbridge, Dartford and Thanet areas that we cover.

We’ve had an eventful year so far and are gearing up to finish strong with our winter maintenance services throughout the colder months. So, here are just some of the key things we covered during these sessions:

• Sharing updates from our parent company, Commercial Services Group, particularly in celebrating their newly appointed CEO.
• Investments in our staff, training, and machinery that suit our seasonal services.
• Receiving operative feedback on trade shows that were attended by many of our team members.
• Celebrating internal promotions and new starters into the business, including Contracts Manager Steve and our new Head of Customer Experience, Vicki – great to have you both on board!
• Looking ahead for upcoming events and trade shows, as well as feedback on previous ones the teams have attended.
• Lots of supplier, and partner collaborations, many of which we hold memberships with.
• Progressions on our field management system, Joblogic, as the team look to introduce the customer portal. This will be a dedicated space within the system with site-specific details and information on grounds maintenance works.
• Our current social value contributions that continue to support our key customer sites.
• Fleet updates, and exciting news around our first fully electric van.
• Sharing insights around our Pest Control department – with the addition of a Falconer to the team and his two hawks, Willow and Simba.

We were joined this week by two members of the wider Commercial Services Group, to launch a brand-new internal communications platform. Both Lou and Jason from the CSG People, Culture and Communications team did a fantastic job with assisting setting up the teams on the platform. It was wonderful to have you on site and enjoying a coffee with our teams.

As our November floortalks have come to an end, we want to thank all our fantastic managers for hosting these events, and everyone who attended. These sessions invaluable for strengthening our culture and sharing feedback with frontline teams. We look forward to seeing you all again in March!
