Recapping our March floortalks!

Landscape Services hosted the first of our 2026 Floortalk Weeks in late March, bringing together senior leadership, support services and operational teams across our depots to share updates, listen to feedback and discuss what's next for the business.

As we powered through the last couple of weeks of the 25/26 financial year, there was plenty of news to share across Community Services, including:

•           Welcoming nine new starters, celebrating five internal promotions and sharing key team structure updates.
•            Introducing the new CSG-led HR and payroll software platform which has been rolled out to all teams and divisions.
•           Highlighting upcoming training opportunities, from MEWP safety to trailer training and chemical spraying courses.
•           Sharing the published magazine articles of our recent collaborations with the Grounds Management Association and Kubota.
•            The latest updates in investments in equipment, including another robotic linemarker and our first fully electric mower!
•           Discussing the latest social value initiatives which have been implemented in partnership with our customers and the communities we work in.
•           The next phases of our Field Management System, Joblogic, including integrated on-site forms and work on a customer portal.
•           Outlining Commercial Services Group’s updated Safeguarding policies.

We were pleased to be joined by colleagues from the wider Commercial Services Group, specifically HR Connect and Invicta Law, who delivered excellent refresher sessions with our operational teams, focused on safeguarding in the community.

As always it was brilliant to spend the morning with our Operational teams, discussing everything from payslips and retirement to industry legislation changes. We thank everyone who took the time to come along to this series of Floortalks and we look forward to seeing you again in July.
