We're sponsoring Green School Awards 2023
We are pleased and proud to announce that, for the third year in a row Landscape Services will be sponsoring the Green School Awards event, a fantastic initiative that awards schools and pupils for the actions they are taking to protect and improve our environment.
Hosted by Social Enterprise Kent, The Green School Awards are an annual one-day celebration which focus on key areas of sustainability and eco-conscious practices, including:
- Clean Air for All
- Energy Conservation
- Recycling
- Being a Green Champion
- Nature Conservation
- Greener Travel
It is preceded each year by an awards launch event, hosted by one of the initiative’s previous winners and attended by all sponsoring business, including Landscape Services. This year’s launch was held on July 10 at Hamstreet Primary School – recognised at last year’s award event for both their Eco Club project, H.E.L.P, and their efforts to encourage and educate on recycling within the school.
The event was attended by our very own Landscape Services Director, Phil Morgan, who had the opportunity to meet some of the children and staff spearheading the school’s eco initiatives, and tour their incredible on-site eco vegetable garden - which utilises a number of recycled items including tyres, crates and wood - and biodiversity pond.

Nominations for The Green School Awards 2023 are now open; Social Enterprise Kent are looking for school-aged children to be recognised for the incredible work they have undertaken to promote greener initiatives within their schools, as well as the staff and supporters who go beyond the call of duty to make the student’s ideas a reality.
Whether it’s planting trees, implementing recycling stations, or promoting community awareness, if you know of a student, a teacher, a school, or community group whom you think deserves an invite to this year’s event and recognition for all they have achieved on behalf of the environment, complete this short nominations form. Nominations close on July 31 2023.
