Happy Retirement to Bruce

Today our Tonbridge and Malling team say farewell to Contracts Manager Bruce Bovey, as he saunters into retirement following an epic career with Landscape Services, spanning 44 years!

Over the years Bruce has been integral to the development of our workforce, both as trainer and mentor, and his knowledge and passion for the craft has earned him the respect of everyone he meets and works with.

Joined this morning by his colleagues from Tonbridge and Malling, Tunbridge Wells and across the Landscape Services business, we heard about some of Bruce’s first ever responsibilities on the job, and the difference 40+ years has made when it comes to health and safety, innovation, and technology – not to mention Bruce’s own infamous inventions!

From humble beginnings as an operative within the formerly named Kent County Council Estates department, to his most recent standing as the manager of a successful and hard-working operational team, Bruce has made an incredible difference to this company and we couldn’t have done it without him.

A huge thank you to Bruce for his commitment to this business; we wish him well in everything he does and look forward to seeing and hearing what comes next!
