A recap of our November Floortalks!
Landscape Services just wrapped up another brilliant round of floortalks for November 2024, where we caught up with the operational teams across our depots in Kent.
Floortalks are essential to Landscape Services’ culture, offering the opportunity for staff and support services colleagues to spend time together, as well as to keep our operational teams up-to-date with the latest business developments, investments, and relevant information to continuously share experiences.
With 2024 coming to a close, and many ideas in the pipeline for 2025, we had plenty of news to share with the team from not only Landscape Services, but also for our parent company Commercial Services Group.
- Welcoming ten new starters into the business, including our new Contracts Manager, Michala, and Vehicle & Machinery Manager, Matt.
- Congratulating three internal staff on their promotions and area moves.
- Discussions on our financial performance for the year so far, with progressive improvements and growth being a clear ongoing theme.
- Spilling the beans on our exciting new partnership, following tractor trial events held earlier in the year- watch this space!
- Announcing our new machinery and maintenance strategy, with direct training from suppliers to ensure continued quality services on our kit.
- Updates on the fleet and machinery, with recent additions such as trailer units, ride-on mowers and excavators allowing our teams to operate efficiently within their work.
- Recapping our visit to SALTEX, where new equipment and machinery is being considered in line with the operational team’s input, to evaluate their suitability for our business and operations.
- Sharing the recent investments surrounding various upgrades for our depots, with more to come!
- New system updates that will contribute to a more streamlined approach, which will allow operational teams to access business updates more frequently.
- We were pleased to be joined by CSG colleagues from Cantium and HR Connect, who offered additional support services for our staff.
As always, we’d like to give a huge thank you to all who attended this quarter’s floortalk events, and to our managers for hosting. These sessions are invaluable in bringing our team together and gaining feedback on the most recent happenings in Landscape Services.
