The trouble with avoiding your tree inspections
According to the HSE, between five and six people are fatally struck by a falling tree or branch every year in the UK; A further 55 non-fatal injuries are reported on average.
With the continued rise of tree-related diseases such as Ash Dieback or Acute Oak Decline, and the extreme weather we continue to experience year-on-year it is now more important than ever to manage your trees effectively, starting with regular and professional tree inspections.
The benefits of regular tree inspections
Arboricultural tree inspections are a necessary process to ensure that the trees on your property are hazard-free and remain health and safety compliant, protecting you, others and your property.
Some of the benefits of a tree inspection maintenance schedule include;
- Reduced risk of harm to life and health
- Identification of structural damage to property
- Regular check-up of your tree’s health through changing weather
- Reduced costs through avoidance of emergency tree maintenance
- Diagnosis of tree diseases and damage
- Determining watering needs for each species of tree
- Keeping your trees pest free
- Maintaining the aesthetics of property and land
- Avoidance of fines and legal implications in the event of an accident

What can I expect from a tree inspection?
The Landscape Services arboriculture team offer annual, seasonal and emergency tree inspections to suit both tree and budget. Once a maintenance plan has been agreed a trained and experienced Arboricultural Inspector will attend your property to undergo a visual inspection, after which you will receive a personalised report of remedial recommendations for your property.
It will then be the responsibility of the land or property owner to complete any recommendations within the timeframe given.
